Nominations for Gifted and Talented Program

The Wylie Independent School District is welcoming nominations for Gifted and Talented screening and testing.  Nomination packets will be available in the campus counselor’s office beginning on November 2, 2018.  The nomination period ends on January 11, 2019. Nomination packets are available from the campus counselor.  Nominators are urged to begin the paperwork at the earliest time possible.  The state definition of “gifted and talented student"  [is] . . .  a child or youth who performs at or shows the potential for performing at a remarkably high level of accomplishment when compared to others of the same age, experiences or environment.  This process includes multiple and specific criteria as required by the Texas Education Agency. Wylie ISD identifies and serves gifted students in grades K-12. Order Yearbooks Today!

Principal's Message

On behalf of our staff, I would like to welcome you to Wylie Middle School. We have been blessed with a wonderful staff and a brand new building. We are very excited about serving the 5th and 6th graders of our district. Each member of our staff is dedicated to providing a high quality education to our students. I look forward to working with you this school year.
